Infocan is a top class computer training and education

and computer base official curriculum of technical
and desktop applications training. Located in prime
and convenience locations in Hong Kong and Kowloon,

servers in an Internet enabled structural networking
environment, dedicated for IT Skills Transfer &
Training Services.
The mission of our training services is to grow
the number of worldwide recognized IT professional
such as Microsoft Certified System Engineers (MCSE),
Master Certified Novell Engineers (Master CNE),
Certified Lotus Professional (CLP) and Compaq Accredited
System Engineers (CASE).
- Research and Development
The Department of Research and Development (DRD) at
Infocan is a collection of researchers engaged in
research projects on a particular topic or area. The
department forms a team of IT professionals with a
range of expertise in the areas of teaching and learning,
evaluation and assessment, professional development
and educational management.
The department undertakes R&D into such areas
as e-Learning, Enterprise Resources Planning, OLAP,
Internet and Intranet, multimedia, computer security
and informatics research. The result of the department's
research has been and will be widely applied to
the IT industry. Infocan being a multi-disciplinary
IT solution provider for leading infotech vendors,
the researches are indirectly sponsored by activities
from companies including Microsoft, Novell, Lotus,
Compaq and the government. The DRD consists two
research centres, they are Centre for e-Learning
(CEL) and Centre for Web Applications (CWA).

data warehousing implementations, business intelligent
decision support systems, real-time transaction processing

Application systems that we have developed includes
real-time dealing room systems, Internet trading
systems, Web-based OLAP applications, manufacturing
plant QC data input and analysis systems, survey

is in developing Web-based browser-centric applications
deployable in the Internet or Intranet, using such
techniques as Multi-thread Java programming, Java
RMI, Microsoft ActiveX, DCOM, LDAP, etc. In addition
